I want to do The Tanks of World War One. I think that it would be good for me to research on because usually on something I don't like but in this case I chose my own topic. I really like to this topic because tanks are awesome and they revolutionized World War One!!

Two question poem reflection

What are 3+ specifics you liked about the poem?
     Three specifics I liked about Sick by Shell Silverstein were the imagery, word choice, and line breaks. I really like those three because I use to struggled with it when I was in 6th and 7th grade. This year I really tried to step out of the box with my poems and revise them and make the poem them as good as hers.
What did you learn about writing poetry form reading the poems?
     I learned that when you have a bad poem in the start you can always put in different words and line breaks and make it an awesome poem by just changing these little things. Her poem really helped  me look deeper into my poems and make the poem the best they could be.

When Winter Calls

I wake up to the slight whisper of snow
hugging the ground.
The thought of skiing snaps into my head.
I can’t wait to click my skis on
and glide down that steep deep powder.
Wind brushes my hair in frozen bristles.
Snow pops off the ground and slaps my face.
Winter is what I live for.

Mission Statement

MISSION STATEMENT

When people hear about me I always want to be known as a fun, awesome, outgoing, cool, leader. Three people that have all of those characteristics that I look up to are are my fourth grade teacher Miss. Nichols, Ian Compton, and Magic Johnson. They are always helping people out and not giving up on their friends when they are down. If it’s either helping someone on homework, teaching a friend a trick, or even leading a team to the championship they always are looking out for eachother. By the time I graduate college the two accomplishments that I want to have are having a well played job, and still doing what I love. The way I am going to achieve these two are going out to find a job while in college and not give up even if the economy is bad, and being in touch with my friends and still go out and play sports with them. I want to be funny, cool, and interesting throughout my life. I want to be able to work somehow with sports. Either if it is working at a ski shop or being a team manager for a pro team. I would like to be able to still play the sport I play today and still have the amazing friends that I have to this day. I want to be the best I can when i’m older while still being awesome.
