Egg drop reflection

EGG DROP

^
AWESOMENESS
During the Egg Drop, my best drop was probably from 3.5 meters. Scott and I found this knew idea of taping a piece of string to the bottom of the egg and then letting it hang down so it is hovering the top of the cup. This increased our drop accuracy by about 75%. Before the drop wee fluffed up the shredded paper that was in our cup so when the egg was dropped in the cup it would have a nice soft "pillow" to fall into. With all the little ideas we made up helped our egg to land safely into our cup.
My effort was probably a 10 at the start of class and a 5 at the end. Its separated into different numbers because Scott and I would always try to get only one test in each period. Then after our test, we would improve on our structure by changing little things so it can be more pillow like. We never wanted to jinx any of our test, that's why we would only do one each class.
Our most suspenseful design was our last design. We really spent a lot more time on each little thing. One Example is that on the previous design we didn't make our support on the bottom stable, it would always wobble, so Scott and I improved that by not stacking the Popsicle sticks on top of each other. On the very bottom we up straws through, so that it would hit the floor, then on top of that we had a piece and a half of paper shredded and the other half on the paper making a cone around the cup at the top of the cup. With all these little ideas made one amazing egg catcher.
