Scene 1
Death of King Louis XVI

*King Louis tries to escape*
King Louis: I am innocent! I was throned in a time of bankruptcy and despair. It’s not my fault!
Announcer: Today, the 21st of January. In the Place de la Révolution, In Paris King Louis XVI will be executed because of treason against the country of France. Driving us to poverty and raising the prices of our food and marrying a foreigner. Any last words?
King: 'I die innocent of all the crimes laid to my charge; I Pardon those who have occasioned my death; and I pray to God that the blood you are going to shed may never be visited on France.'
Announcer: You will be executed by the guillotine which was created by Joseph Guillotine in 1789. Trying to escape again is useless.

Scene 2
Announcer: Today, the 16th of October. In the Place de la Revolution, in Paris. Marie Antoinette will be executed because of treason, being married to King Louis XVI and starving the people.
*marie stepped on executors foot*
Marie: Monsieur, I ask your pardon. I did not do it on purpose.
announcer: you will now get your hair cut off so it will not jam the guillotine
*marie gets her hair cut off*
*is executed*

Scene 3
Death of Robespierre
*is drug into the room*
Robespierre: My jaw!! My jaw is broken! Let me go!
Executioner: You have come here for a trial for your actions.
announcer: today, the 28th of july. In the place de la Revolution, in Paris. Robespierre will be executed because the reign of terror became so pervasive and arbitrary that not one can trust or feel safe around him. they would feel more relieved if they could avoid execution. The leaders have decided to send you to the guillotine.
*removes bandage from broken jaw*
Robespierre: *yells in pain*
Announcer: Any last words?
Robespierre: Liberty, Equality, and Brotherhood!
*executed*
Announcer: His death marks the end of the Reign of Terror! This leader was the most bloodthirsty and now he is gone.
